We are seeking an energetic, skilled, and creative Automotive Motor Mechanic Facilitator to join an innovative vocational education institution dedicated to empowering Africa’s youth with future-ready technical skills. In this role, you will combine your deep practical motor mechanic experience with a passion for teaching, coaching, and mentorship. You will work directly with apprentices in dynamic workshop and classroom environments—delivering engaging learning experiences, conducting practical and theoretical assessments, and guiding young professionals toward industry excellence and ethical artisan practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end learning journey for automotive apprentices, covering instruction, assessment, and holistic mentorship: • Facilitation & Practical Training: Deliver engaging, hands-on, and theoretical training sessions for motor mechanic apprentices following accredited vocational curricula and modern industry standards. • Mentorship & Student Support: Coach, mentor, and build positive relationships with young artisans to develop professional work ethics, problem-solving skills, and personal growth. • Assessments & Quality Assurance: Conduct formal practical and theoretical assessments, track apprentice progress, and provide constructive, actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement. • Academic & Workshop Administration: Maintain detailed academic records, attendance logs, assessment files, and continuous performance metrics in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. • Workshop Safety & Management: Oversee workshop equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring safety standards and health protocols are strictly maintained during all practical modules. • Curriculum & Learning Innovation: Collaborate with the academic team to continually refine learning materials, practical projects, and simulation exercises aligned with evolving automotive technologies.
