Job Title: Head of PMO Currently seeking an experienced Head of PMO for our client who are a recognised, innovative and high performance Digital CX-BPO service provider with a global footprint operating in South Africa, Australia, Europe and North America. Rated & voted as a top 100 employer. Ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project management office (PMO) and ensuring that it operates effectively and efficiently. They will lead a sizeable team and work closely with other departments to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. The Head of PMO will also be responsible for developing and implementing project management methodologies, processes, and tools, as well as providing training and support to team members and stakeholders. They will be expected to have a strong understanding of project management principles and best practices, as well as a deep knowledge of contact centre systems and their specific requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role. Responsibilities Ideal candidate will be responsible for designing the framework within which projects are created, managed and completed. Lead the analysis, selection and roll-out of PMO tools that enable the integrated delivery model. Create methodologies, standards and dependencies according to which projects are designed. Provide and maintain an overall capacity plan and resource tracking service. Assess day-to-day workings and monitor progress considering predetermined KPIs. Provide the necessary training and facilitating skills to drive transformation activities and ensure long term adoption. Responsible for Divisions strategy and provide optimal portfolio value as well as documenting all key decisions and action items. Own the logistics plan for stage-gate decision process and core team meetings. Plan and deliver allocated product launch (end-to-end) Ensure cross functional deliverables are aligned and the execution of deliverables and timelines are on track. Bring a deep background in Portfolio, Program & Project management expertise and knowledge of contact centre systems. Lead project quality and post-mortem functions to mitigate and address project delivery challenges in the support of continuous improvement efforts. Prepares regular, thorough and articulate executive summaries for senior leadership on project and team performance. Develop and employ strategies to bring alignment and true partnership between finance, technology and business stakeholders. Skills And Experience Exceptional leadership skills. Proficient in PMO software & Tools. Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and projects. Strong Microsoft Projects and Excel skills. organisational and planning skills. strong oral and written communications. Min 10+ yrs. experience in new product development and project management. Proven track record of successfully managing and executing new product introductions from concept to commercialisation. Ability to perform root cause analysis on issues encountered during project delivery and devise course correction. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science, business or related field. Project /Programme Management certifications a must.
