Procurement Specialist

Purpose Accountable for executing and management of Commodity and Project Buying. Thereby improving Clients organisational Supply Chain Management maturity, to be able to consistently and repeat ably deliver projects within scope, time, cost, quality and performance Key Accountabilities / Outputs 1. Executing management and administration of RFX 2. Determines and develops appropriate sources of supply and maintains contact with vendors to stay current with trends technologies, products and services 3. Prioritise suppliers for the application of performance improvement processes and resources 4. Create and manage orders and contracts 5. Deliver cost reduction targets set for Divisional (value for money) activity 6. Increase the value year on year of materials/services sourced and understand the benchmark global commodity cost 7. Ensure that commodity strategies are communicated, applied and updated 8. Deliver against the Group Supply Chain Management plans and objectives 9. Maintain continuous in-depth knowledge of market conditions, industry trends and developing technologies 10. Working with on international supplier base 11. Experience and understanding of the process for identifying and validating new sources of supply. 12. Ability to manage cross functional teams- at senior level 13. Cost savings and reporting 14. Project Management 15. Supplier relationship management 16. Report writing 17. Supply Chain Management administration
